"ELK GROVE, Calif. -- Elk Grove police are investigating an officer-involved shooting of a handcuffed man.

As Elk Grove is starting to become a city thats growing ghetto, it can never compare to long beach or compton. This being said, Cops still wont risk the chances and if it takes necessary instinct measures to protect yourself then let the tazer or firearm do the job. They are so use to dealing with Teens in Elk grove that are starting to get more and more out of control and getting in the thought of "I can do what ever i want without anyone controlling me." As for this issue, i'd say the cop is innocent for the simple graze across the suspect's face because there must've been a triggered reaction for that reasoning that we cant see because we werent there. What i dont understand though is why or how did the cop get lucky enough to graze the suspects face instead of blowing his face into smitherines lol? If the suspect were to be shot straight up in the chest, then thats a whole nother story. :lol: Just my 2 cents.

we don`t know the whole story, probally never will so you can`t really ask if it was justifiable when it wasn`t your own life in the line of fire.

I agree with the both of you, I just wish elk grove can go back to the way it was 5 years ago when it was a bit more peaceful. But shit now we got kids jackin packages off peoples front porches. Mabye I'll have to put in a few rounds myself :twisted: obviously joking of course lol.. :wink:

I heard the officer had a AR but was unsure and didn't want to introduce that into the mix.

Except I wasn't ranting, I don't know what happened, I wasn't their to see it, I am not calling the officer out and saying he did something that he shouldn't have. My statement was more of lets wait until all the facts are out before passing judgement

Hmm. Non AD....I cant picture it. Missed from feet away, with a rifle, while he was in the backseat of a car? Obviously the info is not in but something is off. Agencies are quick to back up their officers in regards to shoots that are IN policy. When agencies don't come on the offensive it makes me wonder.
