TM p226 trademark flaw?
was just looking at a few pics of the P226 and noticed on the slide where it should say "stainless" it says "stanless" from what I can see..
lol.... that's funny you should mention that, because I think it says redwolf on the bottom pic... and my friend just ordered an ICS silencer that had a typo on its caliber labeling and reads " .6.0 cal". I wouldn't be surprised if the trades on that were jacked up as well.
Tree down. Repeat, tree is down.
The slide says "Stainless." The font for the text and the zoom used on the camera are making the "I" and the "N" blend together.
Jeez, are they already out? Last I heard it would be mid/fall 2005 before we saw the 226 and G17.
The real deal and it's hard to see it on this one too.

$150 and fixed hop? Fail...
I have no problem with the TM fixed hop units. My M9 has a fixed hop and it shoots extremely well. It just means that you have to match your ammo to the gun a little more carefully. I forgot if I was using the Excel of Airsoft Elites at the time, but the bb just kept on sailing straight for the longest time. It didn't hook up at the end, but it didn't drop off either. TM seems to be able to get their fixed hop pretty close to optimum...
i agree with kevin, bot my TM m9's hops have been very good. better than the WA adjustables and just as good as a set ksc hop in my opinion.
Yeah, I especially hate the KSC rotating hop units. Everytime you adjust those, the barrel/chamber/hop rotate with the dial and you have a gun that hooks to one side. Great guns, but crappy hop methods. The new WA ones have actually been pretty ok for me. But in all honesty, I just love the TM fixed hop units. They're consistent, they don't back out, they're assembled very evenly and they just flat out work well. Maybe it's just me, but the fixed hop units leave one less thing to worry about on your gun. If it ain't broke...
Well since were on the "hop" ......my Sheriff LRB sux a$$ sometimes, then shoots for miles, other times. Might be gas presure, but I just not sure yet. I am using A.E. .25 bb's since they are giving me the most consistency so far. Still testing and waiting.

It's still a cool idea to have the option of the hop-up unit, just in case your bbs are dropping towards the end.
