Opinion on A&K
whats your guys opinion on a&k airsoft guns?
everything is amazing, but everyone is an idiot
most are JUNK... every once in a while you'll run across an A&K gun that works fantastic but that definately is not the norm

Well my friend owned an aftermath m4 which is an A & K rebrand and it is basically a crap gun..

not the greatest, they work for a while and eventually break. My friend blew 160 dollars on an A&K gun and it broke when the first bb came out. turns out the internals were fried. So tell your friend to save his money and get a better gun.
When you think it's safe to go back into battle...well look for my stick grenade.
90% of the time buy Japanese. I don't really know what to do with the other 10%, but whatever; maybe go Taiwanese or something. I never trust chinese manufacturers (not to say there aren't any mediocre brands). I will admit I am very biased about this, but it's just my opinion.
ok....

they make decent clone ak's i guess. cyma that is
cyma is good for their m14's and thompsons. im not too sure on their ak's though

The A&K Mk43/M60E4 is good to go. Put over 7,000 through it with 1 jam in the feed line that was fixed with a quick pat on the mag box.
i had an A&K m249, never had single problem with it accpet for the wires got a little rusted, so i cleaned them, i sold it to a friend who still uses it
yeah from what i've seen from their rpk's and ak series mostly they are pretty good, dont know much about their other guns, their new m60 is supposed to be great..

Not that this really as much to do with overall reliability, but the A&K M249 series (and I would think the M60s) are proprietary compared to the CA M249 counter parts.
