I'd give it one mag before it broke.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.

she likes the HK g36c, but they run just over a hundred bucks. and i just put aside some money to buy a used SIG 550. but i really cant complain, she pretty gives me free reign as long as we can pay bills and buy food. i need a second job just to get us setup for airsoft, lol- that shit aint cheap. (i think its hilarious that some airsoft guns are more expensive than thier real life counterparts)

This is what I would do... Get a good, inexpensive gun. One that will last a good long time, but wont break if you bump into a wall. It might put you out a little money, but if the wife ends up not wanting to play, at least you have a spare/loaner gun that didn't put you out a lot of said money. Half the guys on my team joined because I had a loaner for them their first time out. That way you have the potential of getting more of your buddies into the sport as well.
I'm sorry, was that your face?!

I would just save my money and pick up a sportline for her.Thats what I did for my girl.Good luck!

go to airsoft battlegrounds, they have rentals for $15. thats a lot less than that AK and if she doesnt like it, you wont have a russian paper weight sitting in your room.

Forget what I said.... Asbg and rentals are much better.

we are still getting gear and guns, not ready to go out JUST yet (maybe in a month TOPS)

honestly, this is probably not what you want to hear, but if your going to put money into airsoft, i would invest it in something with a well known brand attached to it. after i spent $30 on a springer, i knew i wanted a aeg. i got a classic army and never looked back. just some examples:
OH, don't mind Austin, we let him greet the guests, and then tie him up out back.
What I would do is save up money for a gun that you want, tell her it's hers, and if she doesn't like airsoft then you just got a new gun
MLG is NOT a sport.
