M1 Garand
Ryan, Gerry, Joe, Spence or any of you guys with Garands. Do you guys have the conversion manual for the m500 magazines? Have you successfully converted any of the magazines. I want to pick up some m500's and convert them before May.

Hum, I haven't mesed with the two I have enough to really know, but they seem to feed OK the few times I've played with them.

Do the feed OK if you push up on them while firing? Is it that they are not clicking into the magwell tight enough?

it depends, sometimes i'll hold em down and they still misfeed i think its cause i didnt add the "front tab" and the side parts

Hmm, I'm confused which isn't uncommon, but if I understand this right your gluing additional siding to the magazine so it fits snug into the mag well?
Hum, did you notch the front bit? It can't just be a solid block.. it's not got have a "V" shape to it to allow the front mag catch to actually catch it. Give me a few minutes. I'll take a photo of the ones I have that 2nd bat made, they seem to feed OK for me. But like I said, I've only messed with them a few times...

no nothing was done to the front at all. only dremeled the back of it for the mag catch and thats it.

problem? they all work fine for me. just the ocasional one that needs to be pushed up into the mag well a little after a few shots, but i hear that is normal.

Where'd you guys pick up the TAP PLASTIC?
nope, just problems because his garand is like a premadona that works when it wants to or if the mag i made for it only.

thats what the mags we got from 2nd looked like but they didn't work so we popped the front thing off and they worked fine, so when we made ours we didn't put it on.
