Tattoos?
Im thinking about getting a tattoo only problem is it may be harder to find work with a tattoo that is not covered by clothing. So im wondering if any of you guys had tattoos and what has been your experience with finding jobs?
I have tats on my legs, no problems, but if I had tats that were on my arms or sleeves I could see some jobs wanting me to cover them up.
my cousins a professional tattoo artist, i was training to be his apprentice, but had to quit. but the general rule of thumb is, face and hands will almost always prevent work. arms, that cant be covered will substationaly hurt your chance. your best bet, if your unemployted and seeking work, or if you have a job that frowns upon ink showing, get them where they will be covered. i have close to 1000 bucks worth of ink, in four tatts. and you cant see any of them if im wearing a t shirt.
Play, shoot, laugh, enjoy the game.
i made the mistake of thinking i was going to be in the Army forever, and got my arms, chest and one of my legs done. So far I haven't had a problem looking for work, but everytime I go around the old fashioned grandparents i cover them all up so they dont have a heart attack. Just make sure you can cover them all, buddy, and make sure they're not your girlfriend or wife's name lol

I have a tat on my bicep first off if you are planning on getting a Tat think about the design and location for at least a year! If after a year you still want the exact same design then go for it! However if you change your mind at all then DON'T do it. Remember rats are for life. As far as location I do suggest some place that would be covered by a nice dress shirt. In.10 years you don't want to get turned down from a high paying job because you don't look professional enough because of the ink that you have. Just my .02 worth

God save us everyone will be burning inside the fires of a thousand suns.
Generall rule for me is stay above the elbows, no neck, or head. Bassically I would prefer to have the ability to have a professional life and my real life. Keep in mind I manage a R&D Lab and work with Dr's that all seem to be extremely conservative and the liberal ones are anti-tats as well. That being said im ink free but saving for a chest and arm (2 inches above elbow to shoulder) piece haha.
Okay next bit of business where did you get your ink and pics of your ink?

Play, shoot, laugh, enjoy the game.
