So i cannot decide what to go with. Im stuck between a few M4s and would just like some feedback from people whove owned these brands.

Used TMs, KWAs, or CAs are your best bet for a good deal and kickass gun. Many are ripe for upgrades and right around your price range, take a peak on here, craigslist or ebay and see what you can find

Cant go wrong with thr g&g combat machine series. Solid, reliable guns.

Yeah i'd recommend either the g&g combat machine or echo1. Both are great guns, idk about the ics though, never used it

My recommendation is either the ICS sportline or a JG M4. The Echo 1 M4 is nothing more then a JG M4 with Echo 1/Stag Arms trademarks and a bumped up price.

Not true ^^ Echo1 puts the trades on, yes, but they also often replace the internals (such as bushings and spring guide with metal ones) and fixes some problems the guns might have. Plus alot of Echo1 guns are just cheaper versions of more expensive guns, more recently alot of VFC guns

In my experiences, they don't do crap to the internals. It makes sense they wouldn't, as that would cost them TONS more money. I have even asked a couple of really techy people I know, and they have compared the internals of an Echo 1 M4 and JG M4 side by side. Absolutely 0 differences. The only 2 VFC guns I know of that Echo 1 rebrands is the Echo 1 platinum M4 and the new XCR.

G&G combat machine 2 years and plenty of use, awesome gun after a dropping a stronger spring/metal spring guide and a jg high torque motor

I'm friends with the guy who does the tech work at my local airsoft store and he has said the huge difference, not just in internal replacement, but just fundamental gun problems echo1 fixes. plus they add their warranty and trades.

Would the local store you're talking about be JF paintball & airsoft? (I am assuming so since it says you live in Grass Valley) if so, I so don't trust anything they say....They told my friend that a 9.6v battery would shred the gears on an Echo 1 V2 gearbox. WTH? The gears used in JG/E1 V2's are super tough.

Ha yeah I agree. Although I have to say the guys at jf are extremely knowledgeable and i trust more then the guys at aex. (no offense to you guys.lol)

Your judging off a single incident somebody said which I am sure of taken out of context. I've had jf fix things the guys at aex messed up or told me wrong. And they don't charge a fortune to do so.and the guy who works on the airsoft stuff is extremely smart.don't bash a local store until you have been. Trust me they are good

What was messed up and why would you not just take it back to AEX? They stand behind their work and will make it right with any* of their customers, yourself included.

KWA. They make solid guns. Can't go wrong with them.
