m4 not firing
i have a m4 and when i connect the batt and pull the trigger it just whines instead of blank firing, i was wondering if anyone knew what is wrong. Lmk thanks

stripped gear tooth/teeth of some sort...
is it a quiet sound or is it loud scary and violent. like being raped by Cpairsofter.
i wouldnt say its super loud but it just like a normal whining sound, kinda of high pitched

what happened is that either your piston teeth are stripped, or for some reason or another, the gears have slipped, and are now missing the piston completely. My recommendation is that, if you know what your doing, open the gearbox, re-set all the gears, and adjust the piston and sector gear, so that you know it catches the teeth. Sometimes, the same thing, for no apparent reason, slips on me and I have to do this.

You may just need to adjust your motor height too. That's happened to me a couple times

well i replaced the piston because it was broken and the gears was fine, everything else looked good as well, but it still wont fire and its not the battery or the motor, please help

Motor doesn't have enough torque to pull spring? Maybe over-shimming? Sometimes after-market pistons are too thick to fit inside certain types of gearboxes and get clamped down when you fasten the screws, so it goes nowhere.
what do you suggest i do then
