So I ended up getting a new laptop after the old monster died a few years back and I picked up one of their new 1490 cases off of Southwest Public Safety. It's pretty nice and although the foam was a bit confusing at first I ended up getting it fitted. Just wanted to ask to see if anyone's had some crazy stuff happen to any of their cases (I know its a pelican yes, but shit happens). Warranty looks pretty ironclad but I am wary of the "damage outside of normal wear/tear" clause in it. So far it has worked great and just short of driving over it with a bradley, I believe my computer is safe from damage. Also, the waterproofing guarantee was reassuring.
