What do YOU want?
I recently had a member pull me aside and thank me for hosting games at NAM. He said he enjoyed the open end feeling the field gave and favored it over ASBG as well as Galt. He compared it to playing Modern Warfare 2 on a map the size of World of Warcraft, as oppose to the small, quicker games in confined areas. He liked the feeling of actually being ambushed and the opponents having a base off in the distance.
Just dont like the long breaks that make people leave :p

I'd like to see and run more stuff like we did our ww2 game.... "in game" all day. No breaks, send out patrols, ambushes, ect. Have lots of smaller objectives that really mean nothing and no real "winner" at the end of the day, just long drawn out operation with lots of stuff to do.

Operation Team Fortress was by far the best airsoft event I been to. Capture the flag between big tree house and trench base was awesome. Though the team I was on at that time was at the tree house it was awsome to see the trench base lined with weapons. From Hairy apples AT gun to all the morters and the random spring 50 cal laying around and the other guns that lined the trench. The turn out was great that time. Only issue I had that time was loosing a brand spanking new WE gbb scar mag over all that distance.
That and the vehicle game were the best

Keep the large field play. Not to many places to play anymore that's not CQB oriented.
Personally I want to get off my ass and come to agame, that might be a good start :P

For the record I'm not planning to compete against any private vendor, I simply want to know what the masses around here want from the games I hold. I'm adjusting my schedule this spring and summer to try for numerous games, so rather then going with what I like, I'm opening the floor to opinions. Otherwise.... Attack and Defend it is! :)
Nam is a great place to play. I rember my first airsoft game was at Nam. I have played in Galt, and a few other places. I like the long games at Nam, and the fact that I can have a large area to play. I don't like indoor games, and Nam by far is a great location, and I feel like at Nam you really have endless possibilities for many scenarios.
long wide covering games. i like the tactical feel, if i wanted to play a cqb style id go to asbg, or go kick my friends front door in :D
Play, shoot, laugh, enjoy the game.

I'd vote for a mixture of the two. While the large field games are great, sometimes adding in a bit of the CQB element is fun too. "In game" all day (save for maybe lunch) is an idea that I could totally get behind.

As I have mention I hate the breaks, I hate the long wait while we all play grabass at the cars. Why I dont play there. I have a busy schedule and it cost me a butt load to drive out to Nam. Im a huge fan to packing our shit to the tree house and playing non stop. I dont like hiking with guns however. That is one of the main reason why i didnt join the Army! That and my whole DQ. I dont mind the longer games 1+ hours as long as you dont have an equally long break!

I always liked the bigger games at Nam. It's a big area. Why not utilize the real estate? Other places are small. The fact that there is the possibility to host large games and also the wooded terrain always were what appealed to me most about the field.
I think what we may look at regarding those who need long breaks, is for the Admins and Game Refs to check with everyone to see what they need to do for the next game. If in a game of 30 people, three or four need to recharge their batteries, then maybe you can let them do that while you go onto play with the 26 or 27 who are ready for the next game. No need to hold up the majority for only a few.

Part of me misses running games out at NAM. Never once did I have anyone cause trouble. Sure people get into arguments, but that's when you send them to the opposite corner.
