yes - very quiet, great back up for the field, light, easy to use.

Yes, on the field I know my springer will still sling bbs if my other guns go down.

Aside from my 226, I used springers primarily when I did play. Nothing better than hearing "OW! sonuva..... where'd that come from?" or "THWACK!"
