very tragic :( :(, history for ww1 just died there, ww1's veterans are now extinct like the many other brave veterans before ww1
When you think it's safe to go back into battle...well look for my stick grenade.

There are two more ww1 vets left worldwide, but they are both 110 as well and can't have much time left.

Oh yea its great talking to ww2 vets and also sad, I talked to a ww2 vet who served in the 101st on D-day and when he was telling his story of how his men were dying right next to him, he started to ball in the middle of the store and I felt really bad that he had to see stuff like that.

Some of the stories they tell are amazing, talked to a vet in SLO he Went from Omaha Beach to Germany and he brought back a gold plated nazi dagger that he found in France. So sad that these guys are dying off.

it is sad but my great grandpa was in ww2 still alive today but he fought for greece and protected there island crete (bigest island of greece) agenst 3000 german paritroopers

I saw that article in the newspaper or online (not sure which). It's like a piece of history died with him. You know?
