hey guys my grandpa gave me his old government issue 1911, iv completed the safety courses and such so i can go out to the range on my own, but i need to buy some ammo. where do you guys suggest the best place to pick up some .45 auto in the greater Sacramento area?

you can try just guns they have ammo boxes there fairly cheap

Wild Sports is closest to me. I think there's a Cabelas around here somewhere.

do you guys know if the prices are reasonable? the only place i checked out was big 5 and it was about 60 dollars for a box of 100 rounds, i dont know if that is a good or bad deal lol

you should be able to get a box of 50rds for around $20.00 or less. try walmart also...

I paid 179 for 500 rounds of 9mm at just guns it came with an ammo can. not the best price on 9mm but the best price locally that I could find. try giving them a call. 45 will be a little more but you can't go wrong with 500 rounds!
