SIG 552

May 10, 2010 4:13pm
I was working with the Chico PD S.W.A.T. team and one of the rifles that they use is a SIG 552. After fondling this rifle for a while I decided that I had to get one for use in airsoft. I immediately went looking for the low cost of JG but then after looking into the JG a little more realized this would not be the best choice. I have no decided on either the ICS or the TM. I am trying to replicate a SIG 552 that I found online but have some concerns. Here is the rifle:( sorry that the picture is so big)

the take down for the airsoft 552 i've heard is one of the biggest pains in the ass, i believe the gun is basically clam shelled over the lower.

try getting a G&G sig 552, a friend of mine recently got the 550 version and the finish and aesthetics were superb, not to mention the reciever was metal not plastic. his shot around 350 stock and was exceptionally accurate.

I have my buddies TM 552 with a Guarder MBK. The AEG is in PERFECT CONDITION. He wants to sell it. If you are interested LMK.

I am just doing a precursory search for which gun first. As of now I do not have the actual funds to purchase one. However, what price would your friend be thinking?

Looking at my SIG, I think you could probably separate the back part of the stock from the part with the hinge and release button. Fabricate a piece to attach to the hinge part, with the tube for mounting the M4 retractable stock.
