I watched it and had to watch it again for the body. Was that really a body? That's crazy.

I am not certian that was a body flying either! also in the caption they said it was a mavrick, I'm also not to sure about that. Looked more like free fall ordnace to me. Anyway great video I laughed for a minit watched it a few times regardless of what we droped we won! I bet they had to clean the guy up with a sponge!

I'm pretty sure that was an AGM-65 Maverick. It didn't have the sound signature of conventional free fall or "dumb" bombs like the mk-82 or 83's....

Okay, my computer here at work won't let me open that up. But it sounds like some similar I've seen. If you go to military.com they have some good videos. One is a TB tank on a typical Afghan goat trail (they don't have roads there)(that was a sacrastic pun), when it gets hit by some ordnance, you deffinately see the tank commander flying out the turrent. I'm not a bomb guru so I'm not even going to try and figure out what type it was, it flew, it flew fast, it hit and it went boom. Finis! I think I may also have some AC footage from Anaconda too, I'll see if I can download it and post it somewhere. I'm pretty computer illiterate, that's why we have office assoistants!

The politicians lost Vietnam, not U.S. forces.
May 5, 2005 3:33pm
What the heck? how did that get spelled wrong? U.S. not you.S!

I give up.
May 5, 2005 3:46pm
hmm ok? What about Bataan Death March? Or the nearly 2500 US Troops who to this day still remain missing in action in Vietnam? Thank god we always prevail!

There are other armies out there, go join them. Or would you like to just sit there and continue playing armchair politician? Or how about JOINING our military even as a cook in the Air Force, and see how long the attitude continues. You want to run around and "play" and talk some crap, well, because of a whole lot of people like me......you have the D%@* right to express your opinions on OUR military. You want to quote some history kiddo, better get back into history class, clean the crap from your ears and even go listen to some old fellas down at the local VFW, I tell ya what, those ol boys will pound some sense into you. But don't sit there and knock our people in uniform because we deal with the ball-less polititians and liberals that we put into office. So unless you've been there, shut your &*^$#!@ mouth. Now that I've brought myself down to your level, let me apologize to everyone else who may read this. Guys, and Gals, I do apologize, and yes, we have that freedom of speech but when guys like this start talking, I take it very personal, I've lost friends, and some of us have been wounded, we did our job. Not one of us regret it. Again, I apologize.
