CA MP5 just stops firing??
I have an older CA MP5 that will just stop shooting at random times and then will usually start again in a couple minutes, sometimes after a smack the side of the body a couple times as well. I have checked the motor connections and they are fine. When I pull the trigger I get nothing, no motor spin. It's as if there is no battery hooked up.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.
The exact same thing happened with my CA G36, the problem ended up being the selector plate.

Probably your selector plate...on the newer version M15, they took out the metal plate on the selector plate and just connected the leads that those were supposed to connect. The selector plate is not used to close the circuit anymore...rather to move the mechanical safety and the cut off lever.
I have the same problem with my CA M4. except it doesn't shoot at all.
