depending on on how much money you have, either get a classic army sportline if you're on a budget, or if you have a little bit more to spend, get tokyo marui or kwa
My advice is to go to Airsoft Battle Grounds (if in Sacramento area) and rent a gun before you buy. Play the game a little before you throw money at it. Take a look at the guns you see people using there, ask the ref's on advice on gun purchasing. (Do not bug the ref's or they will hate you for life.) Airsoft is alot about what you want in a gun, soo depending on what you like (range, accuracy, rate of fire, pretty externals ect ect..) will determine what gun is best for you.

That g&g is a nice gun with a really nice polymer body that feels great. It is also a great beginner gun for upgrades and customization. I happen to have one and it shot great out of the box and very accurate with good distance.
Don't worry my refs will only hate you for about 5 min
there are also some good deals on sacair.
I was checkin that website out, battlegrounds looks pretty dope. somethin im thinkin about trying out before i do anything major. looks pretty fun, like counter-strike, pistol & shotgun only haha. by the way, i am in sac town
i second the idea of going to asbg and renting. plus the environment is fun, good people, good games lots of fun. they have the m4 and mp5, so if its the m4 your looking at, you can get hands on there and dont have to worry about dropping a pay check on a gun. i also know your probably pretty anxious to get your gun like i was when i first got going. save up a little cash and get a classic army or tokyo marui. i did and still use the same CA to this day and that was 6 years ago.
