Alright, so I got a Safariland 0705 for a Sig P229R and with the retention screw in, I can't seat the weapon and without hte screw, I can't close the trigger strap. Do I need to jsut break this thing into hell and back or did I get the wrong holster?
When you say you checked the model number, do you mean you checked to see if it was a 0705 or it was molded for your gun.

Well, I removed the retention spring and the thing finally works. Even without the spring, it's a nice snug fit and with hte snaps in, it's in there. So, aside from one bitch about it, Safariland continues to be a great brand.
