I have a KWA G26C that is very moody. It has the metal slide and outer barrel.
I've seen the problem before. One thing is that the spring is not quite strong enough; but if you go in and polish the contacts on the frame it will help out, also you have to clean it thoroughly and lube it well. If you do not do these things it will continue to be a problem.
Will the slide go into battery with the mag out? Or does it do the same thing? If it does it with the mag out, then something is catching internally. If it only does it with the mag in, then it's too much pressure on the mag seal to the cylinder, which is a common problem among KSC/KWA guns. You'll have to use a thicker lube, like teflon gel, to overcome that. A stronger recoil spring wouldn' hurt either.
it is lubed every time before use and i will try polishing the contacts. how do i disassemble the selector and remove it from the weapon?

had the same thing happen to my m9. I just played with it and it fixed itself eventually.

Ya, I would use some good lube. My cousin did that to his gun and it worked fine after that. Like somebody said, a stronger recoil spring might help.

thanks, yeah, i know how to get the slide off and the barrel and recoil spring out. is there a way to delve deeper into its guts like removing the nozzle and all that junk under the rear sight?
