So I'm going to be finishing up my masters in a week and a half and have decided I'm gonna get myself a present for all the hard work. I've decided to purchase a pistol and have narrowed my choices to the following:
G19: Proven platform. Lots of aftermarket support. Pretty much the golden standard.
You CAN NOT go wrong with a Glock in 9mm. the 19 is a good choice for anything. Forget aftermarket support, factory parts are what work and they are easy squeezy to get.

G19. I've run G19, G22/23 for duty/entry use & now running a G27 for off duty w/23 mags.
Take the slide off a G19 and an MP9 and turn them over and look at the guts...
Get whatever you feel comfortable with.... There are glocks that are POS, sigs that are POS, S&W's that are POS and XD's that are POS.
