Airsoft Tactical to Practical

for rifles it helps on proper wielding, reloading and overall muscle memory. pistols too. even gear, you can get used to running around and getting dirty with it and even change it around to what makes your more comfy.

the 2 biggest "Tactical" lessons you get is movement and working within a team.

Only things that it lacks IMO are the fact that concealment and cover can be nearly the same, not so with real firearms. Bushes will not block 9mm, .45, .308...

I think to a certain extent , practical tactics can be usefull. From my expieriance with airsoft, it dont work. I know when I was in Kuwait one of the biggest things was acquiring your target. In Airsoft, more often then not, folks will lite up a noise, or any area that looks strange. So in that instance, it doesnt work. But on the other hand, that makes it somewhat realistic due to the fact that the fight we are in now, is not one of conventional war tactics. So I guess it all evens out.

One of the differences also, is the amount of ammo one carry, and magazine capacity.
