A 50 cal. hmmmmm be cool in a airsoft war, but a pain to lug around

I've heard nothing good about the Cushmen stuff. Basicly, it looks aweful close up. Not worth spending the time and money to do a gun using one of there kits.

I bought their BAR and was very disappointed. They vacuform thin plastic over the original parts. The stuff is flimsy and they lose some detail when they do it. I guess it's ok if you want to make a foam filled dummy. I can't see goignm to the effort to put a mechbox etc. inside one.

they say in their tutorial that if your making an airsoft out of one, they will upgrade it with a thicker sheet of plastic, but it might not matter though.

Here's one guy on the WW2aa forums that's made a BAR using the Cushman kit, although he went through extensive amount of work to modify and fix the body.
