USS Johnston is done! Sea trials tomorrow.

What happens if they sink in deep water? Do you have to go diving?

Yeah, the pond we fight on is maybe 6 feet deep at the deepest. You just keep track of about where it sank and swim out and recover it after the battle. Drain the water and patch the holes and it's ready to go again almost right away. Sometimes you have to let the electronics dry out a bit, but not normally.

I still cannot believe you guys allow submarines, they sound so good.

99% done with the little destroyer. Pool trials showed a few issues that have to be delt with, but it's doing well. Once the few small issues are repaired, it'll go on to pond trials and then battle in two weeks!

What an awesome weekend we had. Dani and Sheep and I went to San Jose this weekend to battle our little wooden warships and we had a great time. Saturday was a practice event, just drive around obsticles and shoot targets. Sheep won his class... although almost sunk doing so due to a major leak in the hull and deck. I didn't have a chance to get Dreadnought into the target practice due to helping Sheep with some of the small issues we were having with his ship.

Bought myself a little Christmas present for all the hellishness I get to deal with this month...
