I want to shoot the IPSC air gun division and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a solid gun under $200

Solid under 200.00 IPSC Airsoft gun....you can get a good base gun for that, but to get the accuracy to AIPSC levels you're probably looking at 300.00-400.00.

The KJW Hicapa SVX race pistols are actually real good, designed by Tanio Koba who is the father of basically all Marui's GBB, he now works for Kuan Ju and has been designing some good stuff for them, most of the Koba KJW's have a lot of upgraded parts in them, you would need to add a 6.01 tight bore for sure though, I know gamepod has them and I think aex may too. They have a slightly longer barrel than the standard HiCapa and look very much like the Western Arms Infinity's but in full metal.

Im looking at getting a used tm glock 17
TM's are a good option but the glocks have a somewhat shorter barrel, take a look at the videos of the HK Airsoft IPSC shooters, most all of the top shooters are using moded HiCapa's or SV style pistols and for good reason, accuracy is numero uno and they have longer barrels. Check out some of Clarence Lai's customs to get an idea of where to start your build, he builds most of the top shooters pistols in Asia.
