I'm having trouble finding the brass pieces that the grip screws fit into on the 226. I only have two screws (one on each side of the grips) and I'm looking to replace all the screws with the gaurder hexagon screws. My questions are, do the guarder screws come with the brass pieces? If not, does any one know where I can find replacements? And last question, if im unable to find the pieces; Would I be able to buy a 226 springer and take the necessary parts off of that since they are merely cosmetic pieces?
