i want to build a tm glock 17, and im looking for any help or suggestions on how to get the following results:

I am in the middle of a build right now. The only reason it's not finished is lack of parts. After market slides are hard to come by even overseas. The Guarder barrels and steel slide sets are all bought up. There are no aftermarket barrels around right now.

im thinking of just getting a shooters slide, maybe titanium so its heavy, and get a good recoil spring guide and hammer spring to pull the heavy slide. and that should make it heavy with a hard kick right? and the shooters slide is more solid.

I have the shooters design slide.... It sucks. Shallow trades, sloppy fit( it rattles a LOT) and the shooters design outerbarrel broke at the chamber.

snoopy has a shooters design slide on his tm g17 and his has NO wiggle. theres alot of different shooters slides, maybe u just need the right one :?:

Um funny thing, I have shawn's pistol.

You have my old pistol with a recently installed Shooters Design Glock 17 (Cast) slide. It's not the CNC aluminum one. Nick said that he did some sanding of his own to make the slide function smoother. *shrugs*.

how about a firefly recoil kit with Recoil Spring, Spring Guide, Buffer Spring with Ball Bearing.

how about i get a tm g17 with a guarder ftk from uncompany? its $320 though, is that worth it? i mean it comes with the aluminum slide, steel outer barrel, 150% hammer spring, recoil spring guide, and high flow valve; all the things i am needing for a high recoil set up. not to mention it has a steel mag catch, steel trigger lever, and guarder frame. and uncompany was the only store i could find a g17 with guarder ftk in stock, only other place was ehobby asia and they had the tactical ultimate, but i would have had to buy a new frame cuz the only one they have left is fugly, i mean brown and silver??
