SO. I finally reached what I consider to be the apex of my airsoft career; I aquired a SAW. M249 Para to be precise. I got it used from a fellow sacairsofter, and over all I'm very pleased with the aquisition. The only thing that isn't great is the box mag that came with this and every other CA M249. The problem is, well, it really blows. Its very chincey cheap plastic, and is ugly as sin. The only way I can think of describing it is that its like buying a corvette, and then mounting doghnut spare tires on it. Sure it'll work, but it looks like shit!

NICE! Fun guns, youll get stronger arms quick! FYI on the mag if it doesnt have a blocker that you can place between the removable door and the BB hole place one. I used foam rubber. The BB's can jam the gears. that a real bitch to fix fyi lol
I have been running a TOP box mag since 2004. I run my battery in it and I have it wired for a tape switch that mounts on my lower rail system. Only issue I have ever had was the nylon pinion that drive the loading mech. broke but was very easy to fix. They are great box mags and look pretty close to RS.

the nutsack mags are less of a hassle, although I do have a mag nutsack one, I absolutely hate it, it feeds like a pig with no mouth and I dont like it whatsoever. A friend of mine has one of the CA ones that is sound activated and I like it a whole lot more. Besides that I have two of the standard CA big boxy mags and I havent really had much of a problem besides the shoddy plastic quality. Just my 2 cents.

Good on you but F-that sheeeat. 249's are like hot chicks.....they all have some sort of fucking issues that can't be solved, only band-aided.
