Since the Admin meeting...

Nov and Dec are just flat out for me. UPS is nuts this time of year. If it's early Nov... maybe. After that, I am really unsure right now. Truth be told I maybe inactive for a while. After the end of the year I am going to try to get another job on top of full time at UPS, I am drowning in debt and trying hard to get things square again. This is one of those times that real life is just going to get in the way of fun for a while. :(

When we were younger, it was easy to schedule our lives. After we grow up, get women into our lives, work commitments, community commitments, church commitments, etc, things get hectic.

By regularity I do not mean big games once a month. I mean just a game every weekend or every other weekend. Even if it is just a simple game. With all that's on my plate, I can't commit to helping with big milsim games. I'm sure I could come help at the game, but gathering material etc I just do not have the time for. I am more then open to committing to hosting at least one normal game a month with basic CTF / Attack and Defend objectives.

Well, to be honest, Fort Ord does not really have "BIG" MILSIM games. If you really look at it closely, they have a fancy game name, Like "Operation Red Dawn", followed by two or three team uniforms, usually Green vs Tan vs Civilian.

I will second Dave as agame host as well. Not sure I know his brother although I think I do, but Dave for sure as helped out a lot at games and has proven himself to be a trustworthy, level headed guy.

Something that I thought of today... Should the game hosts have moderator powers in the event section? To be able to clean up threads about games they are hosting and whatever else might come up? Just a thought...

It twas me. Good to see that Dave is already got a game up! I think he will be a good choise. He's been a very helpful guy at games I've hosted in the past, hell.. he even came out and dug holes with us at nam.
