I have a large 8.4V 4200MA Intellect battery in the box mag of my SAW. I'm getting around 6000 BB's through it before the battery runs out of charge. Does this sound about right? Should I replace it with a new one? I got the gun and battery used, so I'm not sure how it performed when it was new.
As I have been told the usual battery life to shot ratio on a stock gun is 1 shot~ per mAH. so with a 4200mah battery you should expect about 4200 shots. Sounds to me like your gun is running efficiently you just like to hose people. My suggestion is get a backup battery.

Lipos tend to run a little better. same rof would be a 7.4v~ and i dont know what amount of mah. dont know how much space in your gun or how high lipos run in terms of mah.

maybe im not as trigger happy as some or hell i dont know but my 4200 9.6 would go 10k + if not 15k it was shooting 400 fps
Thanks for the replies guys; I'll be saving up for two 7.4v 25c 3300 mAh lipos and a charger!
