Taliban Loadout Question?
these guys don't carry as much ammo as you think they would.. They have starter belts for a quick make and break contact. Fucking assholes don't have the balls to stand up against Paratroopers for long anymore. I hope they all trip down that hill and a hot barrell flies up their sandy vaginas en route to hell where they belong

Seek the Narrow Gate, for the path is broad and the gate is wide that leads to destruction.
My brother was telling me that they don't stick around long; in and out like a cheap one night stand.

You would be surprised what they can do. When they're moving like that to attack it is ussually quicker. They will have about 3-10 PKM gunners with about 100 rds each. Thats already 300-1000rds they dump off in minutes and dip out. Add in a couple RPG dudes with a few shots each and they can dump a lot quickly and get out.
The mujaheddin developed these tactics during the first afghan war, at that time they were carrying PPSHs (The communist afghan government had been given tons of them by Russia before it was overrun). It was a smart way to lay tons of fire on Russian targets before the Hinds got there.....I don't see anything cowardly about it. Read "The Other Side of The Mountain" If you want detailed accounts from afghan fighters and CIA operatives on the ground.

The Mujaheddin are not to taken lightly...just ask the Russians. They are a fierce fighting force that has kicked just about every ones ass who ever went in to Afghanistan.

The American militia from the Revolution would have understood these guys. The militia could never stand up to well trained British regulars toe to toe in the open. But in the proper terrain, where the British advantage in massed firepower and bayonet charges was negated by forests and stone walls the militia could be extremely annoying. The redcoats of course were outraged that the cowardly Americans wouldn't stand up and let the Brits mow them down.

Sorry Bizcuits that your post went so far off topic. All I wanted was to put a little information out there for your question. Anyways, the mother fuckers over in the 'stan are fast (faster than us), do a quick make and break contact, and then leave. That is why they do not need 210 rounds (full combat load) on their person such as us. a good started belt for their heavies, and two or three AK Mags and of course, the all too great RPG is enough for them to piss us off. They are good at what they do, and that should be respected. This shall be my final response to this post.
No need to be heated about it sbkitzo. I wasn't saying anything against what you have done, as I could tell by what you wrote you were/are in. I just didn't know if you had A'stan or iraq experience - that is why I left that part of the statement open.
