Kevin sent me this, he wants to be an admin and host games. He had hosted 50 plus games with his crew and had never had an issue at them. His games are 15-20 guys and they are always a ton of fun. So here is what he sent me:

I say give him a shot, I have no issues with him whatsoever.

Kevin's games are awesome, he always did a really good job at running his games at the feather river.

Well as I see it we have 8 or so admins here and 3 active ones that host games. There are guys with game ref titles that were going to be made admins to replace us. This never happend. So this guy is a dam fine choice who is going to be active and be around for the long haul. If to many admins are an issue then he can have mine.

If Ron and Borden want to wait, then I say respect their decision and wait. It's only two more weeks and I'm sure Kevin will understand that we're attempting to restructure a more serious issue. Just assure him he is on the top of the list, while we address some internal organization.

100 is a gross overestimation of the number of users with admins rights. Its ridiculous to think any of us would use these privileges to harm this site.

Well the 25th is a no go for me. So I will make my point here. If we trust some one enough to host games and player saftey, yet we don't trust them to be a site admin?

I'm alarmed at the bureaucratic though process that seem to be becoming prevalent in this thread. This started with a simple issue: We need more games. The simple and logical solution to this problem is to increase our administrative capacity by electing the most qualified member to the post. Weather or not that is Kevin is besides the point when the issue itself is being drug down by other purely political bullshit. This restructuring does nothing whatsoever to expand our administrative capacity and should not be treated with the same immediacy as solutions that directly effect and froward our charter, which as I remember it, is hosting games. I see admin "levels" as a ridiculous notion. If we can trust someone to put our name on an event, run it safely and honorably I see no reason we cant trust that same person to help manage an online forum with the same level of conduct. If certain aspects of online administration are beyond someones technical expertise I would suggest they exercise self control and refrain from trying. Ron if you want this to be a conversation befitting the structure you are attempting to implement don't talk to us like this is 4chan. If you have an issue with Kevin tell us what it is and why, I'm sick of having to read between the lines though all of this.

I had forgot that any opinion opposite to that of king Ron is subject to any amount of slanderous insult, forgive my imposition. If you are willing to put down your thoughts in a manor befitting an adult man I'm sure we could reach a conclusion that makes sense to all of us.

Well I have never seen so much crap in a while. I put up some one for discussion... Then I asked a question.... then I disagreed with some people.

That's, because other then getting face to face, eating some buffalo wings, drinking some beer and talking about what we want to do, there is no plan. What you are trying to get to the bottom of is a secret plan for those of us here to probably waste money at hooters, talk about the hot waitresses and try to get on the same page of how we want to proceed with SacAir, whether it be more Admins or simply more Game Refs / Game Admins as well as better ways to possible get more games.

People are not always going to agree with each other on anything, but there is a serous breakdown in comunication here. Instead of discussing things and having a debate, it's turned into a arguement that really has no point anymore other then to get the last word in.

my opinion:

Agree Mike, +1 on that.

I am going to unilaterally lock this thread until after the meeting of the 25th. so we can stay on the topic of the meeting and address this issue after the rules are agreed to.
