After a whole year of working on it and also being lazy I am proud to say my 30 cal. is complete and is shooting like a champ. it will be at the game on may 29th ready to slay. pictures will be up tonight, but unfortunately I haven't made the tripod yet but Ill have it by the 29th.

I used a TM m14 base for internal parts and made the design for this gun with air sharp plans and a scrollsaw to cut out the body of the gun. it is made from ABS plastic 3/4 inch thick. unfortunately im still using an m14 hicap mag but wont be for long, this will be at the game on the 29th. paras all the way!

I'm guessing to keep the barrel straight?

the screw comes off tonight, I put it there to keep the barrel straight while I put the barrel in place, but now that it is, I can take that screw off.

Dark grey? or mechanical? yes it does shoot but its trigger is a bit weird to where the trigger is near the tripod support for jeeps, I kinda said screw it with making the trigger so i'm still using the m14 trigger and actually it doesn't bother me at all (look at the picture and once you see the trigger and safety switch sticking out, thats the trigger i'm using). It shoots about 380 with a .2 and must say, it shoots beautifully straight if hop up is adjusted right. I've put about 4 mags through it and its easier to fire from hip (mainly because trigger, but I hope to get my tripod soon) and i'm now wanting a box mag for it lol. Hey blaino, did you make your box mag or just buy a box mag and cover it over with something that looks like a 1919 box mag? If you did make a box mag yourself please send me a link on how to make it, airsharp has horrible instructions lol.

Buy a large box mag, modify the mag to go into the M14 ( I can show you how and give you a crappy m14 mag to use) and put it into a ww2 ammo .30 cal ammo can. You can find them around for cheap enough.

any suggestions on what type of box mag to get? thanks ryan but I can probably get enough for a m14 mag, there not expensive but thanks for the offer. but I would maybe need help with modding the box mag to fit the m14 feed

No, the M14 mag will be ruined when I'm done modding it to fit the box mag. I don't remember what box mag I had, it was large and green and plastic... and fit in a .30 cal can perfect.

large and green, probably a m249 box mag and alright well now that I think about the m14 mag, it would probably be ruined after the type of work done on it lol
