I think it is a good idea, but I could forsee a problem with a limited turn out. Advertising would be a pain in the butt, but if you think you could square it all away I'd be happy to come out and help on the day of the event. I just can't contribute any logistical support.
totally feel ya, ya turn out is a biggie, but then again if i can find a good venue, rent out spaces for people to come and put their shit out, then BOOM! hype hype and more hype. i have a small background in marketing that i think i can use here to get a nice hefty turn out. of course with your help as well - either logistical or on the front lines if you will.
