I wanted to bring this up at the meeting, but it totally spaced my mind. Obviously the effect of the long island.

If we are going to allow the RS to be discussed or photos or such, perhaps we can have it's own forum set up and any RS item or topic must be posted in that forum and no where else. This may allow us to keep an eye on the forum as it moves along. If a discussion shows up in the non RS forum we can move it over and warn the initial poster. Sticky's can be placed at the top for instant access to the SACAIR RS policy if one is implemented.

Hum... I love guns, own a ton of them ect. But I'm a little nervous mixing toy guns with real guns too much.

I am very well versed in California law regarding firearms. I often assume others are too. I do not mean that as an insult, but when I speak I refer to the actual law.

Oh to better understand the AW laws, here is a flow chart that explains them very well. It is however a PDF :)

lol with the PDF again! ya my AR is CA legal, i have a pistol grip, RIS unit, 10 round non-detachable magazine. ya my AR is CA ILLEGAL - it has a pistol grip, RIS unit with vert grip (hahahahaha totally illegal for some odd ass reason), and a detatchable 10 round mag =p, wait its legal! wait its not! haha. unfortunately making the AR in CA legal and illegal is pretty simple, like Ferg said 10rnd mag + locked via Bullet button or something liek that (i personally have a Prince50 kit), the vert grip somehow makes your gun illegal. i just think that our laws are kinda wacked out to be honest, they of course are meant to keep us safe, but dumb people still buy guns haha.

In addition to my recommendation to have a separate RS Forum, I would also suggest that we could limit it to only members of SACAIR, or only to those who are 18 and over or with both limitations.

The real steel forum has been up for a couple weeks now. How is your take on it so far?
Sep 24, 2010 10:32pm
Well, looks like the Real Steel forum is on track and I have not heard anything from the ADMINS since before August 31st, so I am going to retire this topic and send it to the history forum.
