Hey so this is a real off topic of airsoft, but I enjoy talking with people that are more local and such and yeah. As most of you don't know my two main loves are airsoft,and movies. So I thought it'd be cool to do a thread just for movies, basically what people thought of current movies out etc etc. Idk, let's see how this experiment works :D or if anybody even posts..ha

Drive Hard is a winner....

I saw suckerpunch on the release day also and thought it had some pretty awesome scenes. Some of the tricking in the movie was just sick. The movie did seem kinda weird at some parts, but I thought it was entertaining overall.

Burlesque was epic...

Which one was drive hard?

Ridiculous movie with Nicolas Cage. I can't tell if it is serious or a mockery.

I haven't been watching very many movies in theaters lately even though I enjoy it when I do go, but I have the next 2 Tuesdays off and was wandering what theater does this 5$ Tuesday movies you've been talking about. As I would love to get in on it.

Any of the Regal Cinemas I believe have $5 movies on tuesdays. However, they are not new releases, generally movies that have been out for 1-2 weeks already are $5.

Yeah battle LA was awesome as stated above. Rango was a really good movie as well. some amazing animation, and great classic western type story. And at our Auburn Regal theatre any movie is $5 no matter what (except 3d movies). Even new release are $5 which is awesome

Any Regal Theater is free for me :)

i liked battle la because it wasent like any other moovie were earth gets taken over and the humans just get wiped out with no chance battle la the humans actually had a chance

this came into of theaters about 3 months ago but it was a good movie in my opinion, true grit, I thought it had some really good acting in it. As for Battle for LA and Rango they were really good movies, liked them both and would definitely see them again.

Taken and Gran Torino, two movies that have taught me not to mess with old guys.

Ha Rango was awesome. As was True Grit, I loved Jeff Bridges in that. He's such a great actor. Did anyone see Tron Legacy?

Just saw source code today. That was a great movie, i really enjoyed it. Not quite as good as the director's first film he did (moon) but still great.

True Grit was awesome. I could barely understand what the marshall was saying most of the time though lol. I saw most of the Green Hornet and I thought it was pretty good. They had to evacuate the mall halfway through it though...

saw a screening/sneak peek of YOUR HIGHNESS last night.

Saw Priest and and Thor. Both were great movies IMO. Haven't seen the new Pirates yet though. News just came out that they are finally starting on the next Chronicles of Riddick! I'm pretty stoked for that.ha

Thor was fucking EPIC. And I was expecting a lot... Being named Thor and everything. Everything was pretty sweet about the movie... Plenty funny, and pretty good action. The one thing I didn't like was the way Thor flew. Very... Weird I guess. He kinda flew at strange angles and in strange positions, and would abruptly change direction without the body kinda moving... Way too CGI for me. Other than that it kicked ass IMO. Natalie Portman was alright... Though her charactor could have been played by anyone... I feel like they kinda just went "Who's popular right now?" and offered her a lot lol. Though she wasn't an ansilary charactor she kinda didnt add anything to the movie other than being Thors love interest. She was pivitol to the plot... Just.. I dunno the acting was like 'okay' and nothing else I guess.

If you see one movie in your entire life it should be Hubble 3D IMAX. If two add in The Duellists.

Pirates was a little lacking compared to the first three...if only black beard did a better job
