AK question
So I've been playing for a bit over a year, mostly private games, so I'm not sure I'm a complete Newbie. I was looking for some information on what a good quality AK brand would be. Looking to buy/build a good quality Assault weapon. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
AK's are illegal.

Tokyo Marui ak47 are very good. alot of brands make ak47s and in different versions so just look around, find a good solid gun that will fit your playing style and then look even more into that specific gun.
TM AK74s are SOLID and the blow back is sweet.

I agree with the members above that Tokyo Marui Aks are good... but if your looking for a cheaper priced quality ak aeg.. then look no further than CYMA. Not the most popular brand, but in specific, their AKs are starting to become known and also got RANGE & Accuracy stock out of the box. Just be sure to choose anything above 0.35.
Need Batteries or AEGs to be wired to DEAN Plugs? Message me, I do Dean plug work for a low price.

Nothing beats TM AKs w/ a nice FPS bump to around 375!
I have a tm ak for sale with a guarder body kit limited from 2006, sick gun shooting 380, check out my sale thread
everything is amazing, but everyone is an idiot
Thanks for the input I appreciate it. Just reinforces my initial though which is to go with a TM and upgrade it.
Depending on your budget Go with either one of the new ak74mn, or 105s or a 74su. Spring and bushings and your good to go.

if that be the case, then look at Sheep's AK. That there is a great one. I have the TM AK74u, and that gun is awesome. Good luck with your search for finding an AK.
Smart man! I've owned somewhere around 12 TM AKs over the years and never had one go down in the field.

With regards to the 74mn and the 102. I only see them with the recoil engine. I'm a bit leery about the extra moving parts. Anyone have any experience with them?
Just because you own a weasel doesn't make you an expert Sir. Though I confess it was a marmot....

I know there is already a ad wanting to buy or trade for a Tm ak74mn. Anybody here have one they are looking to offload? I played with one at AEX and it is what started this whole AK fascination.
They are fairly rare to find used, Johnny and I lucked into ours more or less. You will have better luck finding a used MN on one of the larger national level forums.

are you still interested in mine or is our deal off?
Thanks for all the input. I am he proud owner of a new AK74mn. Can't wait to field test it. :)

Some say-That it's impossible for him to wear socks, and he can open a beer bottle with his testes.
I will also testify to the TM AK47. I've owned mine for over 10 years. It has been my most reliable gun. It only went out on me once and that was because the piston teeth wore out from excessive use.
