What exactly is our policy on Non sacair games in the events forum? I thought it was only organized events at insured fields. Beerman/Gasket is posting "non sacair games" on the event forum??? And the other one that is there right now? Basicly they are running sacair style games but calling them "non sacair" to be allowed to? What is even the point then of admins and game hosts if anyone can just post a game in the "events" section and just be sure to add "non sacair" to make sure it's allowed?

Well, I personally don't feel that beerman should be allowed to host games on here at all.. he kept asking to be allowed to host games again and it was agreed several times not to allow him to. So instead he just posts it as "non sacair" and is allowed to host a game? It seems like he's just trying to weasel into hosting games one way or another and although personally I like the guy... I really feel like he's trying to get away with something he knows he isn't allowed to do on our site. Also, the fact that every time I see him he's bashing Sacair doesn't really make me want to give him any slack on these matters.

My initial "understanding" was that organized games meant games by other organized groups like WARMACHINE, Ukau's, FORT ORD and such.

I have no initial problems letting someone post up a non-sacair game for the most part.

ok ya initially i say let him run it, if he fails he fails peroid then we can go about more action after that. it is in the Non-Sacair games - so basically prehaps we can put up like sticky saying that these games are no affilitated with sacairsoft, and sacairsoft.com and its members/admins cannot be held accountable for anything that happens at these said/posted games.

Gasket/Beer man is BANNED from hosting ANY games here. So many safety issues I can not even get in to it.

I have to agree, I am really not comfortible with Beerman/gasket hosting games on our boards even as nonsacair games. He knows he's not allowed to and has continuted to try constantly since he resigned. Besides the fact that he runs totally unsafe games, the fact he trys every few months to get away with hosting a game on our boards by doing something like this "nonsacair game" BS is uncool. He even asked me at AEX once to post a game and let him run it kinda thing... it was a wierd awkward conversation to say the least.

I do not support allowing BEERMAN or anyone else not an Admin or Vendor / Commerical front from hosting games here. Otherwise what is the point in us investing our time and effort. In the end we can say they are non-SACAIR games, but reality is that they are still associated with us, because we are allowing them to be posted here, advertised her and organized here under our nose. Also it allows a venue for people like Robert and Doc to return to SACAIR without actually being at a SACAIR game. They'll go to 3-4 of BEERMAN or whoever else hosted game, then show up at a random SACAIR game claiming they've been allowed to play at other games...

I agree... I understand more games is better... but not having any control over them at all and having them hosted by sacair members and having them posted on Sacair will certainly make it look like they are Sacair games. What is the point of admins or game hosts if that is going to be allowed?

I killed his game thread and sent him a polite PM explaining we were continuing the policy of insured commerical venues only in the event section.

So.. here is what Beerman/gasket sent me after I sent him a PM telling him that that the event notice forum was for organized insured events and that only game hosts and admins were allowed to host games and that is why it was deleted....

My assessment of the sacair flea market comment is that it is simply just a reference to the fact that all sacair is anymore is a place for people to sale stuff.... Although if someone is leaking info, I'm rather bothered by that...

Guys, that is just how he is. He did not get his way, and now you get to see what that guy is all about. When you have some thing he wants, he is your bro..... When you don't have what he wants, he shows his true colors.
