If anyone could offer solutions I would be most apprecative. I've got 2 CA M4's one is currently in pieces right now. I've done upgrades on both and have been able to eliminate the whinning gearbox.... Until now...

I'm sure Snoopy can and will fix your gun but I was curious if you got a small video clip of it. I'm just nosy like that and wanted to know what it sounded like... Just in case I come across that problem in the future.

how well did you shim it?
yeah bakas tip of putting the gearbox together without the piston/cylinder/spring etc and JUST the gears is a good test to see how your gears are shimmed.
I get that on a couple CA guns I've worked on and seen... I just racked it up to being CA???? The guns work fine and have good FPS.... I've yet to get that whining/ripping sound from other gearboxe makers?
