#1.....of course your instructor required all of his/her own books, it is a suplimental retirement plan of many instructors.....

I got an E-book reader program for my laptop, My books now cost between 1 and 50 dollars. Look up the books you need, many of them will be available as an E-book. and if you have a laptop or a reader, you're going to be happy.

actually, what you payed for books isn't that bad. Some years my med school books cost well over 1500. also be thankful that after you graduate you don't have 110K of loans to pay off at a resident's salary for 7 years which amounts pretty much minimum wage when you take into consider the amount of "unlogged" hours we put in lol.

Compared with tuition books are chicken scratch. Taking bio, chem, physics, and math and needing 3-5 classes per each area = a shit ton of expensive books...good thing I just stay a quarter behind my chem engineering housemates and take their old ones :D
