Ok so after a year or two I am slowly merging back into the sport and am looking at getting a sidearm. My price range is under $170.00. I absolutely love the FN Five-seveN but cannot not afford it because of the cost of mags. I I am not a fan of Glocks after thats all I had to shoot and handle for a year. They are great pistols...just not for me. Some pistol designs that I do like however are the 1911 models; specifically the Kimbers. But sadly, I highly doubt that my price range can accommodate a kimber.

I like my KWA KP45, but I have a large hand.

The KP45 is an awesome gun, and if you have big hands, I'd get one. the NS2 system is great too.

I am too also looking into a cheaper side arm. I am a huge fan of KWA rifles, but how do their pistols perform? I have heard nothing but great things about them but how to they actually do out in the field?

I picked up a Softair 229 recently to compliment my CCW gun and frankly I can't hit the side of a barn with the thing. I really regret not just getting another TM M9. Best GBB's ever made, hands down.

So thank you for pointing me towards the KWA KP45. I am now debating between the KP45 and the G17 (both KWA). It will be used primarily for law enforcement training so I am still relatively undecided. How does the KP45 perform? also how crisp is the recoil on it? lastly. How well does the NS2 system work on conserving gas?

Well if your doing LEO training maybe you should stick to what ever sidearm your using 4 muscle memory!... Yet again don't do that.. being a civilian I don't want you getting too familiar with double taps to the head. J/K, all the best.
