One more reason we should have public hangings...
FUCK!!!!!! I could have lived forever and been happy had I not seen that Thompsonthing. Really? What the hell? Who ever did that should be tar and feathered and then hung.... by there balls. For real.

Ya we should keep everything the same and never update anything! Lets go back to room sized computers, a weaker atom bomb, and old cars that we have to crank start. Because those were the original and the original should never be altered.

Well, by adding a rail to the gun it gives the shooter the option of adding lights, lasers, scopes, etc...

None of which improves the basic function of the Thompson, in fact it has ruined a classic gun that can never be brought back to the way it was before. The historical and monitary valve is totally ruined, aaaaaaand, it's not like anyone is actually going to be using that in some super taticool unit somewhere... it's ruined. Period.

Sorry for the necropost but I saw the show in question for the first time last night and just had to be comment.
Funny, I was just about to look for this thread for the same update. The fact it was a replica Thompson makes me feel much much better. Still think it was ugly as sin and dumb as hell, but at least they didn't ruin something unreplacible.
