I like the old site layout better. :( I don't like having to search for new posts. The old layout was much more convenient.

YAY!!!!! I missed the front page it. It was a lot more useful for glancing and seeing if there was anything interesting. Much cleaner looking too.

that is looking like bulkish, I was thinking more of just a flat cover type sheet, explaining the roots of our site and then links at the top or left of the site to the forums and retailers and such and you could also move the shoutbox to that page, most sites i visit have the shoutbox on the main page. Just my 2 cents :)

Thanks, the last site was phpbb with a bridge to joomla that I last touched years ago. Joomla was getting old and the bridge wouldn't support newer versions without some major work, so I figured just move it all over to one platform quit dealing with a cms and a forum software. Something I can keep up to date. I also like mybb's overall feel and price.
