Well I finally took the Stang to Thunderhill Raceway. What an awesome day of high speed tire squeeling. I took part in the NASA HPDE(high preformance drving event). For first timers to a racetrack it is basically a high performance driving school. At the begininning of the day my instructor asked me how much experience I had and what I wanted out of this course. He worked with me very well and I had a blast. I learned the line pretty well by the second session on the track and I was out by myslef by the third one(Dicing it up with a little friendly competition from a Miata). I highly reccomend this to anyone who has interest in racing and has a decentl handling car, Okay now with the pics:

Nope. Havent been there. I dunno. Looks pricey for anything worth while. Maybe some info from the people who have been there.

lol if you guys go to RPM il have to get in on that...9 years of kart racing....tend to do ok at the lil tracks :wink:

nvm they lowered the age limit even more... 13-17... :?

I have a couple friends that race for BMW and do skip barber series thu kart racing but I was never that into it. Won alot of local, regional stuff though. Going to race novice cup class bikes next year hopefully
