Who is left alive?
With my daughter finally starting to settle in, I'm beginning to have some free time. My hope is to begin getting involved by the end of the year.

Well I have tried to host games but no one ever shows. I log on once a week or so.
I am here, just always busy as hell and like Ryan said... no one seems to show up when I've tried to host games in the last year or so. :(

yupper, kev and I are still here and hosting.
I think when the sb1315 passed it took the wind out of everyone, even though it doesn't affect us directly just yet. I was gonna sell all my chit, but I think I will just hold on to most of it for nostalgia sake.
I think everyone left when you took over and changed everything. Demoted / Promoted people. There hasn't been a sacair game like there used to be, since. That and Airsoft Battlegrounds is closer, don't have to wait an hour between games while people talk about how awesome their guns are.

The true irony of the lack of games being hosted is created by the people who don't like driving their pavement queens or lowered cars off the paved roads and then complain that NAM is overgrown or overrun with tweakers. On the flip side you get endless complaints that Kneebreak is too rocky or that the Hill is too far of a walk with their gear.
I have always acted in self defense, occasionally pre-emptive self defense.
No kidding. The last game I hosted I had to PM just about everyone I could think of who used to show up all the time and loan out guns and whatnot just to get enough people. This has nothing to do with Bill "taking over" anything... all he did was promote a few people to try to get more games hosted.

All of what was stated above is why no one goes out to games anymore.
You're absolutely right. The drama makes this sport miserable. I get tired of being a baby sitter for adults, but at the end of the day, I still enjoy running around the woods with good friends. What I'm left to ponder now is whether its even worth it anymore.
For me it's not, I am holding onto some stuff just in case someone gives me a good enough reason to go play (like galt changing ownership hands) but I haven't in a long while. Until that time my stuff collects dust.
Im not all that worried, this site and sport has gone through MANY ups and downs. I have seen it like this before. It will pick up again. However with all the finger pointing, come on guys really? Grow the fudge up. Shit half of us have kids now...I used to stay up and post drunk on the site, now I stay up and deal with my kids. Times are changing as they always will. We need to either attract more traffic to the site again or just sit back and let the tides change like they have in the past.
I hear craig might play again.

I have been MIA for the past two months mainly cause I'm taking a ton of 24/7 call for the my job in order to rebuild some of my account since the house purchase. I figure ill be able to host in January.
I still play every now then, but it's typically spontaneous, or I've planned it a month in advanced. It's tough for sac air to compete with these "everyday" airsoft fields.

Maybe it's time to explore the possibilities of another field or fields. We have been playing at NAM for a while. Some people may be tired of it and others may just be tired of the drive.
Some say-That it's impossible for him to wear socks, and he can open a beer bottle with his testes.
I'm tired of NAM. It's a good location, but finding hypodermic needles on the ground next to broken beer bottles, and meth labs while trying to promote a safe, fun environment is kind of hard.

Agreed. I always just feel like I'm scared of what I'm going to find out there. And the PO can be pretty crappy for those who get it bad.

Well I was hopeful to get back to hosting, but alas life has happened. I finally got picked up and begin the CoCo Sheriffs Academy in Feb. With probation and on the job training, I'll be gone for another year, at minimum.
Well I'm still alive and my hope is to atleast host games on leave. Good news though. I'll be station at Pendleton starting December so ill probably be more interactive on the website atleast.
It's not the dog in the fight but the fight in the dog.
I am in and out of the web when I can. Since my dislocated shoulder last year, I have been inactive physically. I also now have a desk job. I have regained all the weight that I lost two years ago so I need to push myself physically again.
