A couple years ago there would be a game almost every weekend and people would post comments all the time, now theres a game like every few weeks if even that nobody posts that much. What happened?

Same thing happened with BAAL forum, except games are very consistent at the commercial fields. The 'free' field is gone, though.

There used to be lots of traffic and lots of games a couple of years ago from what I remember here.Same with BAAL.

forums as a rule are loosing traffic..........less people are searching the net, most are just using apps now.

well... IMO, this site is condusive to hosting games. I made business cards that went out to AEX and it took the entire backside to explain joining a game for a newbie, seriously. It would be cool if you open the site, log in, see the games available, and click attend. I'm not saying it isn't difficult to join a game here, it just isn't intuitive.

That is how it used to be... there was a small group who was there every game, then a lot of others showed up randomly from game to game.

We do! They are just less often then they used to be. Check out the "Sacair events" section and there will be games posted and simply just post that you are coming so the host can get a head count.

I still hold free outdoor games rain or shine in Lincoln on a 60 acre field. I try to have two a month. I try to post them up with atleast a week notice. I try to keep them fair, fun and safe for everyone. I try and have decent props and scenarios (I mostly fail). I try to keep my wife somehow ok with this every other weekend. And I try to enjoy myself in the proceses. You're welcome.

Yeppers. She stopped coming when college got too hard and the weekends became homework time. I'm soooooooooooooooo happy we're done with that crap.

I got married, had a daughter, got hired by a department and am off to the sheriffs academy in feb... All in the same year... I'd love to host games, but life happens.
