I personally wouldn't buy a gasblowback rifle until much later on. Especially if you plan to use it as your main rifle.

I guess you need to find out why its only shooting 10 feet. It maybe fixable or not worth it and you would be better off replacing it with a better one. I would for sure stick with electric.
