If knee break ridge is the Yuba Hill, Then It is my knee for which knee break ridge was named. It was in 2005 at a game hosted by "Black Ice" AKA John Sharp AKA Charlie Murphy, (I love this f'n guy and wish he would show back up) I was bounding for cover and went to take cover behind a big rock. I was running because I run everywhere. I attempted to go down on both knees so I could fire on some guys behind another piece of cover I was the short part of the "L" and my brother and Pat were the long part with the M-60E3. It would have been epic, except for that rock about the size of an axe blade hidden in the grass. I went left knee to rock and split about a 4 inch gap on the face of my left knee. It shifted my patella and caused some moderate tendon damage. Nothing surgery couldn't fix. ;) No one had pain killers so some Asian cat gave me a beer for that I was grateful. I walked out under my own power. After I left Sutter I was on crutches for three months and could not run for about nine months. I was running 6 miles a day prior to that so it really screwed me up mentally. It also got me in quite a pickle at work. 7 years later I'm back up to 5 miles a day, not to bad for an old man.

Ray Ross is confirmed to be frequenting south Placer County and is confirmed to still be claiming Navy SEAL standing. Last known address has him in the Sutter/Yuba county border area. He now, as of about 3-5 weeks ago, uses a SEAL team challenge coin as authentication of his SEAL status.
