Hey everyone, I've got a quick question. Basically I've been out of airsoft for some time and am looking to get back into it. Are Javelin's AEGs any good? Good as in reliability, both external and internal parts. The last time I played the only good airsoft guns were CA and TM. What other ones are good these days? G&G? There are so many more retailers now days its hard to know. I tried searching on the forum but I only found reviews about javelin bbs which isn't what I'm after. Thanks for the help guys.
I really dislike Javelin's internals, I do not know much about the externals though. G&G has never failed me, their internals and externals are both high quality, but I dislike the stock motors. I have had G&G internals be a little difficult when repairing the compression and upgrading, but i've never had anything break on me. I've even gotten a few G&G's to be almost as quiet as a stock TM, while shooting somewhere around 395 fps.
Why do you dislike them? Are they known to be faulty? Or cheap?
I dislike G&G motors because they are too slow and weak for my taste. I dislike javelin's internals because they are kind of weak, and the gearbox shell design is not so good. I'm not a fan of the version 2 gearbox shells with openings along the piston's tracks.
