I just saw some this morning too.. looks like a lot have the same IPs. I'll be modifying the registration process today (hopefully confuse anyone who has a script for ours), as well as banning those IPs at the firewall.
i have just deleted like 7 threads from spammers. is this problem fixed?
Not fixed. Seems like some of the spammers are manually registering, made some changes to deny some ip blocks. Also added some protection on the register form, hopefully to stop the straight bots.
Just removed 2 and half pages of spam. THis crap is annoying!

Yea, I see they just bombed the place. I just removed all the shit.. I'll try and get something else on the reg page to stop them.
Alright I made it even harder for them to register. It should prompt them with questions, that aren't generic and have special fields to enter. Hopefully this stops most of it.
