My question is it legal and safe to play out there? My son and I play a lot of airsoft and he brought it to my attention after i told him that i wanted to try to go play here and he said that is where people will be turkey hunting this weekend including him self. He is very familiar with that area as they hunt there a lot just concerned that airsofters might get mistaken for turkeys. Thanks for taking the time to answer this concern and hopfully we might be able to join a game here.

With the area being so huge with many parts to play we are always able to avoid other people, normally an admin will talk with the hunters to see where they are hunting at so that we can avoid that area. So overall, it won't be a problem, also the Yuba Co. Sheriff welcomes us out there because we scare away the tweakers

No need to contact authorities. We've been playing there for many many years and in the past 6 years, there has never been an issue.

feel free to come out whenever, Knee Break Ridge is the field next month its all gullies and rock piles with wooded areas

As far as I am aware, or atleast what I've heard from a few wardens and CO. Sheriffs.... They area of the star bend park we play in is technically a not hunt zone... thats not to say that people don't still do it, or that this is even correct.
